Halloween Crafts for Classroom

if you are a teacher, like I am you're always on the lookout for easy and fun lecture room Halloween crafts for your students to make.  There is not any simpler way to keep students occupied than to let them create something, and Halloween is a particularly fun time to make scary decorations to make your lecture room look festive.  There are all sorts of fun and easy classroom Halloween crafts for you to try.  Here are a few that I've used that work well for most ages!

You can make a fun spook as one of your school room Halloween crafts by using some white construction paper and your student's feet!  Have the child take off their shoe and stand on a piece of white construction paper.  Trace around the exterior of the foot, but not the toes!  If your youngsters are able to, have them work together tracing each other's feet!  Then have them cut out their footprint.  The heel of the foot will be the ghost's head.  Have them use a black marker or little bits of black construction paper to make a spook face and use the scraps of white paper left from tracing the foot to make arms and have the kids glue the arms to the spook.  Punch a hole in the head of his head and put a chunk of string thru the hole so you can hang your ghosts from the ceiling and make a spooky room!

maybe you want to have some bats to hover among your spooks.  Here is another one of my study room Halloween crafts that worked well.  You will need a clean egg carton to begin with.  Take a couple of scissors and have your scholars cut 3 of the egg cups out of the carton leaving all 3 attached.  With the outside 2 cups, cut out the front and rear of the cups to form wings.  Then use black paint to paint the bat.  Once the paint is dry, you can either have them use white paint to draw on eyes or have them glue on goodly eyes.  Punch a hole in the apex of the middle cup and tie a knot in the final analysis of a string that won't pull thru the hole.  Hang your bats among your spooks and you have another great classroom Halloween crafts project!

These are only a couple of the many lecture rooms Halloween crafts that I have tried which have excited my scholars and made them feel a lot of accomplishment.  Many announced that when they took them home, their parents were thrilled also.  You may have to ask for the students to bring supplies from home, but when you are planning study room Halloween crafts projects, that are to be anticipated.  Then let your children take charge and be as creative as they wish to be!
